At SGS Games Design, we provide a wide range of professional-standard equipment (Graphics Tables, etc.) for your learner to use (appropriate to your course and level) during their time with us, bookable on short-term loan within or outside of timetabled hours, to ensure you are getting the highest quality industry-comparable experience.
We charge a Games Equipment Hire Fee to learners who wish to use our stock of equipment, which is invested in building, maintaining, and managing our kit.
Games Hire fees for each course level are charged annually as follows (please note that there are no reductions to these amounts - regardless of when you choose to pay);
Professional kit hire companies can require more than £100 per day for some of the items we offer, so the Games Hire fee represents excellent value for money.
The fee is non-compulsory, however, we strongly advise that you subscribe, to take the valuable opportunity to learn and gain experience using advanced equipment and to produce the highest-quality projects, giving you the best chance to achieve high grades.
Any learner who does not pay the Games Hire fee will not be permitted to book out any of our equipment, and will need to use their own to produce their coursework
